Full house rewire done within agreed timeframe (even though we kept adding extra things!) and to a competitive quote. Very transparent through the process (precise itemised quote, no surprises) and great attention to detail which is exactly what you want from an electrician. Saved us from a few silly mistakes in terms of switch locations etc. Very tidy, everything was patched up nicely afterwards. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We were really pleased with the job Mike (Amara Electrical Contractors) did for us. It was for a full house re-wire as well as smoke and intruder alarm installations. Mike communicated well with us in the run up to and during the work as necessary.It turned out to be a bigger job than expected but he worked really hard to ensure that it was done in the time frame he had originally given - which was great for us.The work was very neat, alot better than we were expecting for a rewire and he made a real effort to leave the house as clean as he could which was really appreciated.It's clear he is very skilled and takes pride in his work.

Mike was a pleasure to deal with from the initial quote to the finished job. His quote was the best value and was given to us the same day as he came to look at the job. We wanted a rewire of the downstairs sockets and some lighting putting in, everything was done to a very high standard and a few issues with our existing wiring were dealt with in a professional manner. Mike recently completed a full re-wire on our house and we are delighted with the results. From our first email, to saying goodbye he was polite, contentious and hard working. Mike originally undertook an electricity report for us which raised a few issues, including how we had numerous 'dead' plugs and how our electrics were at least 35/40 years old. We then decided to upgrade the whole system by undertaking a re-wire (inc. patch plastering) and installing outdoor lights plus two smoke detectors. He explained everything in enough detail to ensure we understood the process and no silly questions were too silly! He responded quickly to all our enquiries and kept us updated throughout the work. We will certainly look to hire Mike again to help us when we undertake any further electricity work. Thank you!
